Meet the Challenge!
The Chargers Parents Organization hosted our annual fall fundraiser on Friday, October 5th.

  • Throughout the week, St. Joseph students were challenged to improve their health by focusing on good habits and choices.  Also, students focused on improving their school by collecting donations.
  • Activities began at 12:20 pm with Iowa Women's Basketball Coach Lisa Bluder sharing ideas for healthy life choices.
  • Also joining to help the St. Joseph School community meet the challenge were Marion Mayor John Nieland, Marion Firefighters, Marion Police Officers, Playtime Poppy, and the Kernels mascot, Mr. Shucks.
  • Students, staff, families, and community leaders joined together for a walk on the school and church grounds.
  • Funds will be used for a wide range of school needs including educational materials, athletic supplies, vocal music needs and band instruments.
  • For more information contact Peg Detweiler, Chairperson, or Anthony Voss, Principal.

Iowa Women's Basketball Coach Lisa Bluder and Marion Mayor John Nieland were on hand to support this year's Charger Challenge!
